You do not need a referral to see a chiropractor however, if your treatment is covered by the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) or also known as Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program you will need a current referral from your GP. You will need to discuss this with your GP whether you are eligible to receive benefits under this scheme.
